Permalink Spring is in the air! As the largest land mammal in North America, bison can run more than 30 mph and bulls can weigh up to 2,000 pounds. Right after these two big boys got done, the new born calves had their own go at fighting!

Permalink SenecaCreekPhotography.com © Allison Pluda I just love my Loka photo backpack from f-stop … and apparently this fox does, too! This curious red fox followed me around all morning while I was shooting the sunrise. He caught his breakfast right next to me and seemed very interested in my camera bag as well! After shooting I did a little fishing on Lake Marie. You can see my Tenkara USA Iwana rod tucked away in my pack, too. I managed to take a couple videos of my fox friend, too: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ngKkFcWrlo www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmoHq7Ejs_Q

It is good to be back under the stars in Wyoming… I am so thankful to be able to enjoy places like these in Sybille Canyon with good company!

Permalink Well, after 1,500 miles of driving and finding out that most all of my earthly possessions are full of mold and require a decontamination process, I have moved from the rain forest of Vancouver Island back to Wyoming. It is always sad to leave a home, but I am happy to be back in Laramie in the land of sun and snow once again!

Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day “

Just because they’re not on your road does not mean they are lost.”- Dalai LamaWell, I will be officially making my way back to Laramie, Wyoming in a week or so! This is the last image of Snowy Range Road I took the day before I left a few months ago. Something about the high plains always draw me back to them!

I had the pleasure of watching him catch his own breakfast a few feet from me, and we both ate our meals together that morning!www.SenecaCreekPhotography.com
